The Hollow Choir before and after: the tinted grid is gone
The Hollow Choir before and after: the tinted grid is gone, in the game

New

  • Secrets are written down. Twelve secrets under Minoc are recorded when you find them, with the date. The first finder gets a bound trophy in the bank; everyone after gets a Finder's mark. Playtest characters are never counted.
  • Townsfolk who keep talking. Keep talking to the same townsperson, or ask what no set line answers, and now and then they answer in their own words, about real places in their town.

Changed

  • Guards strike monsters. You told us A hostile creature that walks into a guarded town gets the nearest guard, who cuts it down in one blow. Monsters chasing you give up at the town's edge. Pets, horses and townsfolk are never struck.
  • Picks in hand. You told us The pickaxe is held like a weapon: drag it onto your paperdoll or double-click it. It digs and wears out from your hand. A held smith's hammer opens Smithing.
  • Ore, ingots and logs. You told us They can be set down from the pack and picked up again.

Fixed

  • Two dungeon floors. The Hollow Choir and the Weeping Warren drew a flat coloured grid over part of the floor; they show their real floor art now.
  • Three doors sealed. The Hollow King, the Deserters' Cellars and the Vault Gate opened onto another dungeon's map. They stand shut until each has its own.
