New
- Minoc comes alive. Clear daylight over the mining capital, warm lamplight and forge glow at night, sparks at the smithy, ore dust on the mine road, gulls at the docks, and sounds that change street by street. Now and then an ore cart spills, a forge flares or the shift bell brings the miners out, and everyone nearby sees it at the same moment.
- The old watch's cache. Light all three of Long Hill's beacons and the old watch road leads to a buried chest. Dig it out for gold and the Old Watch Seal; the first finder's is marked. Once it's taken, it's gone for everyone until it refills.
- Small wins as you grow. A "+1 Strength" floats over you when a stat rises, a line marks each new ten points, and you see the day's gains when you leave or return.
Changed
- Skills take longer at the top. Fifty still comes in an evening or two, but Grandmaster is now about a 35-hour journey, still far quicker than classic UO.
Fixed
- Three dungeons open. The Hollow King, Deserters' Cellars and the Vault no longer say "The way is shut", and the road from Wyrm's Rest into the Emberforge is restored.
- Dungeon stairs lead home. A dungeon's last stair now brings you back out beside its entrance instead of dropping you somewhere unrelated.
- Mastery rewards appear. A floor's reward now appears as soon as every puzzle is solved.
- Dungeon lamps keep their colours. Lights shine in their own colours instead of all burning the same warm torch.
