New
- Yew, the court of the realm. The Assize now sits in the open air on Yew's green, every few minutes, under the judge's dais and the brass scales. The clerk reads a charge, two witnesses speak, and the judge weighs it. The guilty stand at the post until the next sitting.
- Sit on the jury. Any porter with a clean name standing at the bench may say "guilty" or "innocent". A true verdict pays 12 gold.
- The bailiffs. Come into Yew with an open crime (grey, a murder count, or a bounty out of Britain) and a bailiff meets thee. Pay the fine (40 gold for grey, 120 for each murder count), stand trial, or run for the woods with a writ posted on thy name.
- A square for the court. Cobbles round the Assize Green, two market stalls and hitching posts.
