- Mirefall: the bog keeps it. The swamp under the stilts is black water now, crossed only by causeways. Gear left rotting on a body in the Seam sinks into the bog, and every four minutes the Dredge, a four-storey timber tower out on the water, hauls it up. The crier calls "Dredged today!" and the piece goes on the Dredge's counter under the name of whoever lost it. Say "buy back" to have thine own for 10 gold; anyone else pays most of the shop price.
- Killers who hold a grudge. In the Ember Deep, a wounded player-killer may now break off and flee rather than die, and the vengeful ones remember who hurt them. On a later floor, one may come back for thee: "Sir Roderic Vane has come back for you."
Fixed
- Mirefall's landing no longer shows stray editor labels, and the swamp banks no longer show black seams.
